For Williams Jones & Co. Britannia Nail Works, Birmingham. The firm was also known as the Britannia Nail Co., and the Engine Order Book, Drawing Office Index and the Drawings Day Book refers to it also as J. C. Dyer & Co. The building was built as a brewery in the 18th century, but was converted to nail making in the early 19th century.
