Includes reverse general view of the engine, coloured original and reverse plans and sections of engine and boilers, showing connection to mill; reverse sections of the engine house and part of mill; framing - reverse drawing; parallel motion - coloured original and partially coloured reverse drawing; working gear - coloured original and reverse front and side views; cistern - reverse drawings. All the drawings bear letter codes.

For Smith, Joseph and Benjamin Churchill of Sheepshead. Cotton mill, Sheepshead (Shepshed), Leicestershire. Engine bought from Peel Ainsworth & Co. The 16 horse cylinder was sent in Nov. 1808, to replace the old one which had cracked.
