ZBQ: Replacement parts etc. for an 8 horse power engine originally ordered by Amyand Cornewall & Co.
DD: 8 horse power engine, with parallel motion, 18½ inch cylinder, [cast iron beam, cast iron connecting rod]. Engine ordered by Thomson Hankey & Co. 1852.
Also sugar mill.

Engine DD, 1852 drawings, Nov.-Dec. 1852:
Plan of 8 horse engine and boiler and sugar mill, longitudinal sections of the engine and boiler (not coloured), cross-section of the engine and boiler and sugar mill, longitudinal section of sugar mill - partially coloured reverse drawings; sleeper plate for 8 horse sugar mill; "Sketch for strengthening the 8 horse sugar mill frame" and plan of sugar mill rolls and gudgeons - 2 small drawings stuck on one sheet; connecting machinery for the 8 horse sugar mill; 2 small sketches of rolls and rods of the sugar mill.

For the Lataste Estate, Grenada. Ordered by Thomson Hankey & Co. The Lataste Estate had two 8 horse power engines. The first, ZBQ, was ordered by Amyand Cornewall & Co. in 1814. Thomson Hankey & Co. took over the agency for the Lataste Estate and ordered a second engine, DD, in 1852, and various replacement parts and repairs for engine ZBQ. Engine DD was omitted from the Catalogue of Old Engines.
