Two 20 horse power independent crank engines, with [25½ inch cylinders, 3½ foot strokes], parallel motions, [cast iron beams, cast iron connecting rods].

Tracings made from drawings by Wren & Bennett, Sep. & Oct. 1836: cross-section of the boiler house, plan of tunnels, plans of 3 courses of masonry, plan of the engine and boiler houses, section of the engine house showing fly wheel and crank, foundations etc, elevation showing levels of shafts etc.
Longitudinal and transverse sections of boilers, plan of the boiler house, longitudinal and transverse sections of the engine house - reverse drawings. These drawings bear letter codes.
Also steam pipes for the second engine - original and reverse drawings and drawing by Joseph Carless sent by Bridgett & Co., Nov. 1848.
