10 horse power independent crank engine, with [19¾ inch cylinder], 2½ foot stroke, parallel motion, cast iron beam, cast iron connecting rod.
Also Brunton's supplementary boiler, boiler fire regulators, boiler ash pits etc.

Coloured reverse drawings made in the London office: cross-section and plan of the engine and boilers, longitudinal section of the engine house and end view of the boilers, longitudinal section of boiler and plan of the boiler house.
Section and plan of supplementary boiler - partially coloured original drawing; plan and sections of boilers, damper and feed pipes, supplementary boiler apparatus - coloured reverse drawing; damper pipes and feeding apparatus, fire regulators (2 drawings), plans of the fire regulating apparatus, and grate bar, sand and brick rings - partially coloured original drawings; cast iron ash pits - original and reverse drawings; side view of supplementary boiler apparatus, brick, sand and grate bar rings etc. - coloured original drawing. These drawings bear letter codes.

For the Bank of England. London. The boiler fire regulators were made by Smith & Hawkes of the Eagle Foundry, Birmingham.
