For the British Plate Glass Co. Ravenhead, near Prescot, Lancashire. This engine was erected alongside an engine made by James Nasmyth which Boulton Watt & Co. altered [see Portfolio 5/527]. The Catalogue of Old Engines erroneously gives the power of this engine as 30 horses. |
