847. A. B. & W. L. Guinness, Dublin (ZI). Aug. 1808, May 1852. 3 items. 10 horse independent crank engine, with 19¾ inch cylinders, 2½ foot stroke, cast iron beam, cast iron connecting rod.
Reverse longitudinal section of the engine house, plan of the engine and boiler, longitudinal section of the boiler and end view of the engine, cross-section of the boiler, section of the engine house. All the drawings bear letter codes. Also plan showing engine house with engine with 29 inch cylinder, 5 foot stroke and "present engine" with 28 inch cylinder marked "with A. Guinness Sons & Co.'s letter 25 May 1852".
