For Sir Alexander Grant, Jamaica. Sugar plantation engine ordered by Davidson & Graham. Engine Order Book No. 7, the Drawing Office Index and the List of Engines made at Soho record that this was a 10 horse engine, but the drawings show an 8 horse (17? inch) cylinder.
