For the Ramsgate Harbour Co. Ramsgate, Kent. On the side view of the engine, the cylinder is marked as being 19¾ inches, the diameter for a 10 horse engine. However Engine Order Book No. 8 and John Rennie's correspondence make it clear that this was an 8 horse engine. This engine was omitted from the Catalogue of Old Engines.
