Two 10 horse power independent crank engines, with 19¾ inch cylinders, 2½ foot strokes, parallel motions, cast iron beams, cast iron connecting rods.

Reverse side view of the engine, plan of the engine and boiler, cross-section of the engine and boiler, longitudinal section of the boiler. The drawings bear letter codes.

Original Portfolio or 'Book' No. 702. Catalogue of Old Engines p. 224.

For J. H. Boode, Uitvlugt Estate, Demerara, ordered by Sandbach Tinné & Co. of Liverpool (engine ZCH, originally allocated to Samuel Greg & Co.), and for the Roselle Estate, Port Morant, Jamaica, ordered Quintin Kennedy of Ayr (engine ZCI). Sugar plantation engines. The drawings were made for Sandbach Tinné & Co. in Jun. 1816 and re-used in Sep. for Kennedy's. Henry Hazleton allocated separate portfolio numbers to the engines despite the fact that they did not have separate drawings; Sandbach Tinné & Co.'s was Portfolio 926 and Kennedy's was Portfolio 927.
