For Henry Meux & Co. Brewery, St. Giles, London. This brewery was originally owned by John Stephenson, who installed an 8 horse power sun and planet engine in 1789 [see Portfolio 5/43]. Henry Meux & Co. took over the brewery in 1809, and bought a 20 horse crank engine in 1810 [see Portfolio 5/429].
