Also press copy sketch section of a boat marked "Design for engines in a vessel same as Margate Dart", Nov. 1826.

For the United Margate Steam Packet Co. According to Boat Engine Book No. 1, the engines were ordered by the Dart Steam Boat Co., but correspondence in the firm's letter books makes it clear that the boat was operated by the United Margate Steam Packet Co. The firm was later referred to as the Margate Steam Packet Co. These drawings were probably kept in the London office and sent to Soho at a later date.
