Two 20 horse power oscillating engines, with 26¾ inch cylinders, 2½ foot strokes.
Cross-section of the boat showing the engines and paddles etc., longitudinal section of the engine room and plan of the beams, plan of the sleepers, plan of the coal boxes - coloured drawings made in the London office.
For Sicilian Customs. The boat was referred to as "Sicilian No. 4" or "Sicilian Customs No. 2". These drawings were kept in the London office and sent to Soho at a later date.
