Comprises two copies of the 'First Report of the Birmingham Ladies Negro's Friend Society for the Relief of Negro Slaves' dated 1825 - 6 and a photocopy of the same report. The first Report includes an article entitled 'A Decreased Demand for the Produce of Slave Labour, a list of secretaries, committee members and district treasurers, a list of subscriptions and donations up to 2nd April 1826, subscriptions and donations from the Deddington Society and an abstract of the cash account from 8th April 1825- 13th April 1826.
