Regrets having been obliged to leave Mr Watt alone to encounter the opposition to the Engine Bill. Bad journey home. None of Dr Small's relations are come. Sends up some astronomical instruments. About the opposition of Birmingham to Lord Dudley. Asks if he shall write to more MPs. [He needs more silversmiths].
