Description[Arrived safe at Edinburgh with his charges, ' and as Helen and Anny were pretty much blackened in going thro your Works at Soho I left them to bathe for three Weeks at the Citadel at Leith'. One of Mr Boulton's coins will be presented to the Lord Provost. He also gave one to Mr Hamilton. They are greatly admired. Mrs Watt's parcels were delivered. He sends instructions for sending on the candlesticks and a request for some of the thin rolled copper he saw at Soho].
