There is a small bundle wrapper on which is written in red ink ‘ Letters of T.Handley. 1768 — 1770. No. 1 to 7.’
The letters were numbered in red ink. They were numbered in chronological order,beginning with the most recent letter. They have now been arranged in chronological order beginning with the earliest, and renumbered.
A conspectus of old and new numbers is given at the end of the list.
