| Description | Margaret Muirhead, sister of James Watt of Greenock's wife Agnes, married Daniel Miller, wright, of Hamilton in 1727. James Watt married their daughter, his cousin, Margaret in 1764. She died in childbirth in 1773. James Watt jr. and his sister Margaret (Peggy) were the surviving children. John Marr married Peggy's (Watt's wife) sister, Agnes (Nancy), in 1769. Watt was named as an executor for Basil Miller, merchant of Calton, Glasgow, brother of Daniel Miller. |
