14 October 1816. Send abstract of Rev[eren]d Rogers letter. Beg of him to take steps to bring this matter to a conclusion. Quotations from my son's letter respecting a further loan. Have written to Mr Mosley for power of attorney to sell stock.
15 October 1816. Copy of my letter to Mr Rogers of December 14th 1815, referring all differences to the commisssioners. Believe my son wrote to the same purpose.
01 November 1816. Reasons why the money promised him was not got sooner, but is now paid to Lubbocks as directed. Send Bond inclosed for him to sign and also Weston & Teesdale's charge for the Bond. Prices of corn.
09 November 1816. Receipt of his Bond. My son still in London. Offer made to Mr Miller's Trustees. Thanks for game sent. Butter come to hand.
