19 February 1816. Have rec[eive]d the sheep he sent which did not prove so good as could be wished. Want my annual account. Wish to put Stonehouse etc. on some other footing. 01 March 1816. Have received his of 27th covering bill for £79. 5[s.] 10[d.] ballance [sic] of my annual acc[oun]t. About Letting Stonehouse etc. & desire to have part[icula]rs of Mr Ferrier's acc[oun]t. Whether he has settled exchange with Mr Rogers. Allowance ought to be made to tenants. My son in Wiltshire. Bankruptcies at Glasgow & Liverpool. 01 April 1816. Complain of the outgoings at Stonehouse & Badland. Want Ferrier's acc[oun]ts & to know how timber charged to Badland was disposed of. Think the abatement to Mr Webb & Mr Jones of Kinnert ought not to be less than 10 p[e]r cent. Wish exchanges to be finally settled. Wish him to pay me a visit here. |
