28 Feb.:Planting young trees in nursery. Orchard to be made in Hergest meadow. D[itt]o at Stonehouse to be filled up. Fences & drains. Farms at New Radnor to be sold. D[itt]o T. Price bought from Mr Thomas to be looked at.
7 Mar.: James cannot come over at present, but proposes taking Cencoed & Doldowlod farms into his own hands. Draining to be done in these farms. Mill to be let for this year for what it will bring. Land tax Doldowlod &c. Mortgage offered on Kenvas.
4 Mar.: Receipt of acc[oun]t curr[en]t & D[ra]ft for £220.5[s].8½[d]. To purchase remaining land tax in Co[unties] Radnor & Brecon. To settle with Farr. Calculations on Bedw, Tyrwill &c. To keep acc[oun]t of trees felled for repairs. Query concerning a person to take care of Doldowlod.
