16 May 1806: Jaunt to potteries piut off. James does not think tithes desirable. My opinion upon them, with calculations. Questions respecting them still to be solved. Would at any rate only to purchase where I had land in the parish. Proper to reflect a little before we make other purchases. Q[uer]y if Hergest meadow planted with fruit trees. Size of parchment for maps still wanted.
21 May 1806: Wish him to come hither on his return from Radnorshire. Have sent off maps of Kinnerton to C[heese] & D[avies]'s.
30 May 1806: Shall be glad to see him on the 8th or 9th as promised. £600 a full price for Clyn glyb. Suspect there s not much above 40 acres of it. To offer no more for it than he thinks it worth.
