02 Aug.ust 1808: Our arrival from Wales. Badland. State of work there. Cellar forgot at Doldowlod; its dimensions under parlour. Mr Bigg expected McDowdell's return. Grafts doing well there. Servants at Mr Harris's which might suit him.
04 August 1808: By Mr R. B[oulton]. Cellar under parlour at Doldowlod thought impracticable. Lewis carp[ente]r to be settled with. Wish to know if the other carp[ente]r will undertake by the job. Will send drawing soon.
25 August 1808: Send drawing for Doldowlod. Badland to be attended to. Dolyvan not to be sold. To be gentle with McDowdell ab[ou]t his debt to Mr Bigg. Doldowlod house.
