07 September 1808: Queries concering the Gritts. Mrs Burchal offers her services as house keeper.
24 October 1808: Mr Scott's M[or]tgage. Our return from London. Badland house. Doldowlod earth may be taken behind new wain house; excavation for back kitchen to remain till James comes over. Maesgwyn timber not to be sawn up. Lilly timber D[itt]o. Apple trees to be sent soon. Brecon road to be pushed on. Common below road to Gwernogo wished to be assigned by commissioners. Part of Doldowlod hill to be planted. Wish for a basket of apples grew on young trees.
14 November 1808: Mr Scott's M[or]tgage. Complain of delays at Badland, should be pushed on. Have directed 43 standard & 13 dw[ar]f fruit trees to be sent from Worcester & 10 stand[ar]ds & 3 dw[ar]fs to Jones at Kinnerton. Cannot get tenants for Wyeside here.
Several letters from Brighton & London principally ab[ou]t Mr S[cott]'s M[or]tgage were not copied.
