14 February 1813. Have come to a resolution not to sell any of my farms at present. Have found a few errors in his acc[oun]ts. Want the settled accounts of Stonehouse & the Mill & of Badland, also Doldowlod. To continue advertisement in Hereford paper & put it also in the Worcester paper. Queries: whether has got tenant? whether has settled with Blaxland? whether Wishland has measured work at Stonehouse? D[itt]o Badland. D[itt]o Dold[owlo]d. Want his opinion as to rents.
02 March 1813. Have rec[eive]d accounts of Stonehouse, which am sorry to see so heavy. Should have the measured acc[oun]ts & particulars from S. Blaxland. In letting the farm I undertake no repairs or alterations, nor find any materials, neither for buildings nor fences. Am willing to make a large allowance for him first year. Have sent off 3 small casks trees for Dold[owlo]d at 7 Cwt.
12 March 1813. My son sets out for Worcester & by Hereford to Builth. I dislike the turning farmer [sic]. Beg he will sell again any stock he may have bought on my acc[oun]t. To try to let the farms again separately for a year under written agreements. Error in S. Blaxland's account of disbursements. My statement of abstract of Blaxland's account.
