20 July 1813.To James Davies: On the same subject. Have got the deed concerning L[or]d Oxford's M[or]tgage about 10 days ago but being ill could not then read it. Have now sent it with the indorsement executed. Propose setting out for Scotland soon.
27 July 1813. To James Crummer: Have not heard from him since his return from Aberystwith. Propose setting out for Scotland next week. Broad's ratcatching. Request to know how Stonehouse and the other farms go on.
