| Description | There is an original portfolio cover of cloth and boards covered in marbled paper. The label, in James Watt jr.'s writing, reads: 'Letters relative to my Executorship for my father.' The phrase 'Memoir of his Life etc.' has been crossed out.The portfolio held five sections of letters and papers, each with a diffferent wrapper. These are described by James Watt jr. as follows:
