DescriptionNot altogether satisfied with what passed on the presentation of my father’s Bust, at the morning sitting of the Royal Society. Attended the dinner. The President gave my health, and then made an excellent Eulogy upon my Father, and expressed the Society’s sense of obligation for the Bust. This was responded to by Mr. Turner and was repeated afterwards. Is to determine about a Pedestal, or bracket. Mrs Turner better for their Dover trip. Failure of Moncy Wigrams caisson at Blackwall.
