DescriptionArago communicated my letter offering the Bust of my father to the Academy of Sciences, who voted me their thanks. He has applied for an order for it to pass the Custom House in France duty free and will then write to me & to Mr. Turner. He proposes an inscription stating it to be my Gift. Going to Metz for 10 days. No meeting has taken place between Arago & Lord Brougham & he still retains his anger. Pentland will be in London in a few days, on his way to pass his Xmas in the country.
