DescriptionThis bundle was previously stored in Tin Box 6 and was described on the 1873 Inventory as 'Gregory Watt's letters to his brother James and to Mr. Creighton, 1803 and 1804, No'd 1 to 4.' There is a bundle label, written in red ink, as follows: 'Gregory Watts Letters to his brother James & to William Creighton. 1803 - 1804. No. 1 to 4' and the letters are numbered in red ink.
The letters have pencil ticks and areas of text marked out in pencil. This may heve been done by J.P. Muirhead, when planning the memoir of Gregory Watt which he intended to write.
