Description
James Watt bought the house and land at Heathfield with fixtures and furniture, in June 1789, from Samuel Blythe, for £900. [See Finding Number MS 3219/4/229 - 239]
The Heathfield estate was sold for building purposes in 1924, and Heathfield House was demolished.
