| Description | Theodore Price of Harborne was consulted by Matthew Boulton in connection with the Harborne poor rate dispute in 1799 (see MS 3782/12/44/28, 63, 103). He was chosen by George Lander as his referee, in connection with Lander's dispute with Matthew Robinson Boulton (see MS 3782/13/100/134 pp. 28, 29 etc.). He purchased three estates in Harborne in 1815 (See Finding nos. MS 3219/6/182-183 Abstracts of title and title deeds). He may have been the author of various pamphlets under the pseudonym 'Job Nott' (see Local Studies Catalogue, Archives and Collections, Library of Birmingham). |
