| Description | Soho 20 August 1844 Mr. Langdon Dear Sir The long threatened list is herewith but I am glad to see it is not so long and formidable as I imagined: I have guessed pretty nearly at some of the others, and of these the great point under the late Mr. Boulton would be to know what is Private & what Mint Expenditure & then, for Mr Westley's guidance in his Household Cash book (which is Columned out) to know what proportion is for House, Subscriptions & donations!!, Stationery, &c. Many of those cheques to you are, no doubt, for Petty Cash only, & Mr: Westley will get your disbursements, as usual. To separate those & tell me as much as you know of the rest is all I want, & then I can start to stick them into a book. Yours Dear Sir very truly C. J. Chubb |
