| Description | (This item is a hardback notebook with a brown suede cover. On the front cover and the spine there are the years '1779 & 80' written in black ink. The notebook is made up largely of calculations and notes on various engines. Towards the back of the notebook there are pages of hand drawn tables used for recording and comparing engine calculations. Within the notebook there are also some dated personal entries as well as directions for making ink.) |
