The front contains a list of subscribers to the copying machine invented by James Watt and made by James Watt & Co., the partnership of Boulton, Watt and James Keir. At the back is a list of towns in England with projected [?] sales of the machine, and overseas places where the machine might be sold. Loose inside the book are two accounts of machines bought by Messrs. Raikes in 1780 and 1782. |
