| Description | '1782.' (This item is a small hardback notebook with a green cover. On the cover is written the preceding inscription. The item is made up of notes and observations as well as accounts and lists of names and addresses. The notes are on subjects such as; 'Experiments on Latent heat by Mr Watt. February 1781.' and 'Mr Perier’s account of the Paris engine.' The notebook contains numerous sketches of engines, pumps and a scale drawing of a canal boat. Enclosed within the notebook is a report with efficiency calculations on the 'East Wheal Maid - 15 Nov. 1782.') |
