| Description | 'Tower Mint.' (This item is a large notebook with a card cover. The notebook is a neat copy of the previous item. It contains an exact copy of the transcript of the report on the state of the Mint sent by Messrs Samuel & Francis Garbett to 'The Right Honourable The Lords Commissioners of his Majesty’s Treasury'. There are also copies of the correspondence between Samuel Garbett and Stanesby Alchorne, as well as the wage structures of mint employees. Enclosed within the notebook are two loose items. The first is a two page printed pamphlet entitled; 'Abstracts of Certain Rules prescribed in the Mint Indentures, For securing to the King all Profits that may be made upon Bullion brought into the Mint to be coined.'
