The notebook contains observations, accounts and diagrams relating to agriculture. At the Centre of the notebook there is a pull out map, in colour, of the lands surrounding Soho. The map is divided into sections representing land owned by different people.)
This notebook includes several recipes, including one for 'Birmingham Soup' (on page 56), a beef soup the ever-enterprising Boulton sold at 1d per quart [2 pints or around 1200ml]. |
