| Description | '1795. Garden, Soho.' (This item is a small notebook with a loose brown leather cover. On the cover is written the preceding inscription. The notebook contains observations, memoranda and drawings mostly related to gardening. At the beginning of the notebook there is a sketch of the front elevation of Soho House. Enclosed in the notebook are four items. The first item is a memorandum headed; 'To make a very durable red lake, alias Prussian Red.' The remaining three items are all tables of calculations relating to buttons.) |
