Description Mr Boulton hopes Mr Scale got home safe & that he has by this time recoverd his fateague
Wishes Mr S: would send for the plasterer who did the counting house (he believes his name is Higginson) & orders the long ware house to be stript of all its plaster both Walls & Ceilings except the part where the Cabinetts are to stand. B: would have it plasterd as a good room should be viz flat & square with a plain moulding round ye beams
I presume we shall have many of ye nobility at Soho this summer & therefore wish to receive them in a genteel room & to shew them a proper assortment of things
Pray what could we make another such a sett of Dressing boxes as Lady Cravens haveing been asked by many
In a letter recvd. from Pyer Rich & Wilkinson of Amstadam they say (in answer to one of ours to them) that they will not be answerable for that Gentn at Drontheim but that he is well recommended to them & they doubt not but he will may good his payments punctualy
Matthews is out & I cant find their Letter or would have sent it
I will endeavour to write to Mr F tomorrow but at present cant sit down an hour
I have not yet seen one City Friend but will begin on Monday
I cant yet fix ye day for my departure haveing many matters of Consequence unsettled
I hope it will not be known by J: T: Esqr. or any body else wither we have won or lost by our auction game
