| Description | London Street, April 22d, ’06.
Dear Sir, I had the satisfaction to receive your letter by yesterday’s post, and presented Mrs. Bensusan with ten guineas agreeably to your direction. She was on the point of leaving town for the Continent, and it would hardly be in her power to address a letter of thanks to you at present, but on her return I believe she will not fail to do it. I hope you do not relax in your care of your health in the absence of Doctor Carmichael; with sincerest wishes for the preservation of it, I am, dear sir, ever your much obliged servant, Jno. Woodward
