Dear Father,
I know even a few lines to say I safe arrived will be agreable to you, and not less so to learn that I forwarded to Mr. J. Watt three affidavits respecting disobedience to the injunctions.
Thackary’s engine has been seen working this morning. Bateman’s was stopt on Saturday, and they are now altering it to a common one; I have, however, got an affidavit to prove that it was working Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
