| Description | Sir I called last Night at Mr Bourdieus but nobody was then in the way, this Morning I saw Mr. Bourdieu Junr. I told him what you intended me to say, the only Answer I got from him was that they would consider of it. If you think it necessary or wish to have it melted for them, you had better write to them from which you may get a decisive Answer. I have this Morning been looking into Mrs Matthews' Books I am very well satisfied with the statement finding it perfectly correspond with my former one after taking such things as I was not acquainted with at that time the particulars being in a Private Ledger to which I had then no recourse at the rect. of Mr Walkers Box I will call on Mr. Parker & at same time Mr. Chippindall with whom I will act In obtaining a Buckle letter. I expect to get away to be down on Saturday at farthest. I am with the utmost respect Sir Your very Obliged Hble Servt. Wm: D: Brown London July 30. 1793 |
