| Description | (Dated at 59 Watling Street.)
Sir, Your favor of the 10th with a sword for Signor Tenducci [1] came safe to hand, but have not yet heard any thing of the gentleman to whom it is directed: may depend on the needful being properly observ'd respecting it. It is with singular pleasure I find Mr. Boulton and yourself not averse to forming a connection with me to do your business in town; I assure you I am ready to listen to whatever proposals you may think mutually advantagious, and have not much doubt of acquitting myself in some measure worthy your approbation. I have been under a necessity of removing my warehouse: it is now centrically situated, and can make conveniencies for any goods you manufacture, after the plan of proceeding is properly sketch'd out; to do which, I dare say you will agree with me in thinking it necessary either to see each other or to be very explicit in writing. I beg my respectful compliments to Mrs. Scale, and waiting you further sentiments on this subject, I remain, sir, your very humble servant, Rd. Chippindall PS. Mr. Fenton is here, and joins me in compliments to the bride's-maid (Miss Braithwaite), presuming she is in Birmingham. [Edited transcript.]
