Date13 June 1795
Description(Directed to 6 Green Lettice Lane.)

Sir,
I hope you will not deem me impertinent in again addressing you at London, which I think it proper to do because the idea I suggested to you in my last, "that the building in Summer Lane wou'd not soon be ready," it is now in my power to remove, the same being sufficiently compleated for the purpose of making a beginning in the projected undertaking; which, for sundry reasons that need hardly be glanc'd at, I am not a little impatient to effect.
Mr. Holioak, of the paper mill near Bromsgrove, has promis'd to send a cask of pulp, which I look for hourly; shou'd therefore be glad to have the other material that you promis'd to furnish as soon as may suit your convenience; the former article, being to be sent in a dilute state, is of course liable to perish unless soon work'd up: in addition to which I think it right to mention, that, Mr. Barrs maintains, and in some measure insists, that the rent commence from the time when Mr. Elvin had compleated the alterations specified in his estimate.
If, sir, you shou'd favor me with a letter before I have the pleasure of seeing you, will you have the goodness to instruct me about procuring hands? whether by advertising or otherwise? There need be but a few at first. I have engag'd a man to work the presses.
I shou'd betray an insensibility to the value of your time were I to detain you unnecessarily; have therefore only to add, wishing a safe and agreeable return to Soho, that I remain, respectfully, sir, your obliged and obedient servant,
Wm. Cheshire
