Description[It gives me pleasure to observe your vigorous exertions to render Oppenheim’s stoppage easy to our community. I flatter myself this will find you safe at Paris. We received "universally" here on Friday, a letter from Oppenheim desiring a month’s indulgence, by a letter of Licence for his appearing at Birmingham, to which I have given a friendly answer: this affair did not fail to make a "Buzzle" in town as every one concluded we were deeply concerned. I fancy his greatest creditors are Taylor, Hidson, Oseland, Bratt and Webb: most of them have told me they would comply with his request: Mr. Motteux informs me that he has the Boxes safe in his custody: I hope the Invoice and Receipt were properly signed in due time.]
