Description(Directed chez R. Foley & Co.) [Tomorrow being appointed the Meeting towards putting in execution the Scheme for erecting a General Hospital near this town, I shall be there to subscribe in our joint names (I suppose £50). Mr. Wm. Wilson called and was very inquisitive to know how much we were concerned with Oppenheim which I made to appear trifling: he supposed you had cleared us by being on the spot: I imagine he was sent on purpose by Taylor Esqr: Bratt the chain-maker I fear is in for £400, Hidson £450, and Webb likewise considerably, but I believe Taylor is by far the most of any.]
