TitleLetter. Samuel Garbett [Heathfield] to Matthew Boulton [London].
LevelItem
Date21 March 1792
Description (Dated Wednesday afternoon.)
If I apprehend right, Hornblower has a patent for things that are neither new nor of his invention, and that he is attempting to obtain the sanction of Parliament not only for the power of using what at present he hath no legal right to use, but what Parliament has granted to you the sole right of using.
I am at Heathfield and hot with walking, and not able to write with a hot hand, but ever yours,
S. G.
I shall send your letter and printed paper by to morrow's post to Lord Rawdon.
