Description(Directed to Mr. Matthews’, Green Lettice Lane.)
Dear Friend,
I have merely time to say that I have this day been told by three respectable people who have no connexion with each other that they have been offered copper at 60/.
Two other friends were about buying 20 ton at 70/, who I have persuaded to forbear.
Miss Boulton well. Mr. and Mrs. Vere well, and say they don't want you at Soho.
God bless you, wherever you are.
