| Description | (Noted on the address-label, "Mr. Chippindall will please dispatch this directly to Mr. Boulton," below which is added in another hand, "Thursday, 6 o'clock.") Sir, This afternoon between four and five o'clock I received your letter respecting Mr. Samuels' picture. I find Miss Mynd has made a diligent search for it at your house, and she promises to have another thorough look. I also will search carefully here, and, if it can be found, will dispatch it per to morrow's mail coach. I have just been at Mr. Eginton's about it, but he knows nothing thereof. Shall also send to - Wilson in Birmingham. I am, dear sir, your ever obedient and obliged humble servant, Jno. Hodges PS. Mr. Robert Howard was here most of the yesterday upon the lamp account, and we are in hopes thro' his mediation this long wish'd for account will be settled. Must request the favour of your taking an opportunity (if convenient) to see him on the subject.
